Nitrates and Sulphates: Rouen UAN quiet, Brazil AS weaker

UAN-30 at Rouen is assessed lower this week with little fresh activity reported in a quiet market. The benchmark is assessed at a flat €170/t FCA down from €172/t FCA last week. Rouen is suggested between 50-55% covered for the balance of the fertilizer year ending May 31, 2019, and neither buyers nor sellers are in a rush to move. GrodnoAzot awarded its 20,000 t September 16 UAN tender to Acron at €145/t FOB Klaipeda ($160/t). This is the first time Acron has purchased tonnage in a Grodno tender.
