OCI posts Q2 2019 profit of $37 million

OCI’s adjusted second-quarter net income rose from $3 million in Q2 2018 to $37 million in Q2 2019. Adjusted EBITDA increased 3% year on year to $222 million in Q2 2019. OCI said that holding back sales in Q1 allowed its nitrogen business to perform well in the second quarter when demand emerged.
