US: MOP imports down 2% in H1

The United States imported 6.27 Mt MOP during the first half of 2019, a 2% decrease year on year, according to updated trade data via IHS Markit. Imports from Canada were down 4% at 5.32 Mt, but re-exports of Canadian product from Portland, Oregon rose 7% to 1.88 Mt.
