Farm businesses to face digital VAT regime

Farm businesses have just 15 months to get ready for new VAT rules that will require them to keep digital records and submit VAT returns direct from their financial software.Last year the government was forced to delay plans for introducing a Making Tax Digital (MTD) system for income tax until at least April 2020, to give businesses more time to adapt to the changes.
