It's been seven years since the government announced its TB eradication strategy. Previous governments have not always got TB control right, but we do now have a plan, which, in parts, is working.For the first time in decades, the high-risk area of England is showing a definite downward trend in TB incidence. Unfortunately, in the edge areas, where despite having much more stringent cattle testing schedules, TB is rising significantly.
