Farmers in England are likely to need to re-register for their agricultural waste exemptions over the summer, as many exemptions are due to expire later this year.Farmers Weekly asked Defra and chartered surveyor Sarah Reece of Berrys for some tips on the process.Although the reminders will arrive at what can be a very busy time of year, it is important to act on them, warns Ms Reece, as without the exemptions farmers are potentially leaving themselves open to prosecution.
