Itafos Closes on Stonegate Deal

Stonegate Agricom Ltd. and Itafos, a Brazilian phosphate fertilizer company, have completed a previously announced plan (GM May 26, p. 25) for Itafos to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Stonegate that it did not already own directly or indirectly, making Stonegate an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Itafos.
