AG&P wins right to build India's second east coast LNG terminal at Karaikal Port

Philippines-based LNG solutions provider Atlantic Gulf and Pacific (AG&P) has won exclusivity from the Karaikal Port (KPPL) on India's east coast to develop an LNG terminal at the port and source and supply LNG. AG&P also secured exclusivity with PPN Power for the supply of LNG. PNN is owner of a 330.5 MW gas-fired power plant, the largest independent power project in the state of Tamil Nadu - which is also home to the Karaikal Port.
