Zhejiang province acquires Wenzhou LNG terminal amid dizzying Chinese demand

The largest government-owned energy company in China's Zhejiang province has acquired a controlling stake in Wenzhou LNG, the second import terminal proposed for the south-eastern province. The move by Zhejiang Provincial Energy (ZPE) comes as local energy officials push to extend the gas pipeline network to cover the entire province by 2020 to meet soaring gas demand.
