Azerbaijani gas now flowing to Turkey from Shah Deniz 2 via Southern Gas Corridor

Azerbaijan has begun commercial gas deliveries to Turkey via the Southern Gas Corridor after the Shah Deniz 2 gas project started production, operator BP said on Monday. The milestone marks the second major upstream project brought online by BP in 2018, with Shah Deniz 2 – the first subsea project in the Caspian Sea – becoming the largest subsea infrastructure operated by the British company.
