Novatek eyes LNG supplies into India via tie-ups with Petronet and H-Energy

Novatek has taken a big step towards securing offtake for its proposed Arctic LNG 2 project after signing memorandum of understanding (MoU) agreements with Indian LNG players Petronet and H-Energy, under which the firms agreed to cooperate on long-term LNG supplies into India. The agreements were signed on the opening day of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, with further tie-ups in the energy sector between Russian and Indian firms expected over the coming days.
