Indonesia's industry ministry has proposed the introduction of a plan that would oblige natural gas producers to sell a portion of their output to local manufacturers in order to ensure gas supply at a price suitable for those companies. The option is one of three being considered by the government, with ministries set a three-month deadline by the president to formulate a plan to reduce the price of gas in a bid to stimulate the country's struggling economy.
