NextDecade offloads Rio Bravo pipeline to Enbridge amid challenging market

US LNG player NextDecade has agreed to sell its proposed Rio Grande LNG feed gas pipeline to North American midstream outfit Enbridge, five months after the pair signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop the project. The deal is seen as a prudent move by NextDecade as it will receive a capital boost in a difficult market environment, however market observers also warn it might make it harder for NextDecade to attract offtakers.
