Tandem Oxidative Radical Halogenated Addition of Alkynyl Imines: Regioselective Synthesis of 3-Haloquinolines

摘要

A tandem oxidative radical halogenated addition of alkynyl imines for regioselective synthesis of 3-haloquinolines is described. Mechanism investigation suggests that the oxidation of halogen, 6-endo-trig cyclization and aromatization are involved in the process. Easily available starting materials, mild conditions, and a wide substrate scope make this approach potentially useful.
