Independent Oil and Gas (IOG) has secured funding for the Harvey appraisal well in the UK Southern North Sea (SNS). IOG has signed a new non-convertible loan deal with London Oil and Gas (LOG) for US $19.1 m (￡15m), mostly to fund the Harvey well, said IOG. Harvey is currently considered a gas discovery by IOG as gas was proven by well 48/23-2 drilled by Arco in 1984.
