Symrise is poised to strengthen its presence in Asia after the Chinese State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) approved its SymWhite 377 ingredient for cosmetic applications. The ingredient, which uses pinosylvin, a natural skin brightening compound found in pine, is said to help improve the appearance of dull complexions by promoting clarity and brightness. It is also said to help diminish the appearance of dark facial hair while simultaneously delivering antioxidant benefits.
