Spain’s Repsol will acquire French player Total’s 7.65% stake in the Mikkel gas and condensate field offshore Norway. Repsol has said that the Mikkel field currently produces around 50,000 boe/d, and Total’s stake acquisition will see Repsol’s output in Norway rise 14% to 32,000 boe/d. Repsol now has stakes in 30 production licences.
