Malaysia’s Hibiscus Petroleum has entered into a conditional Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) to acquire UK Licence P2366 from United Oil & Gas and Swift Exploration. Hibiscus entered into the SPA via its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Anasuria Hibiscus UK for up to US $5m in cash. The blocks are located in the UK North Sea, 250km northeast of Aberdeen.
