OKEA plans Norway seismic

Norway’s OKEA and its partners have committed to acquiring a new 3D seismic survey over Production Licence 958 (PL 958) in the Norwegian Sea. OKEA acquired Shell’s 50% stake in PL 958 and took over operatorship of the licence in March 2019. At the time, OKEA said that data coverage was limited. The block lies east of the OKEA-operated Draugen field, which OKEA also acquired from Shell.
