Cairn Energy has agreed to sell its entire share capital of its wholly-owned subsidiary Capricorn Norge to Solveig Gas Norway for US $100m plus customary working capital adjust- ments on completion. Solveig is one of the largest owners in Gassled, the Norwegian infrastructure system which processes and trans- ports Norwegian gas to the UK and Continental Europe. In addition to its existing 15.56% stake in Gassled, Solveig has recently acquired 13.3% of Polarled and 10% of the Duva field, with these two deals expected to be completed in December 2019.
