EU Adopts Harmonized Chemical Labeling System

Understanding the potential hazards of chemicals and the fact that they are transported worldwide,the United Nations(UN)identified a need for a common classification and labeling system,and in 1992 the UN Conference on Environment and Development(UNCED)established an international mandate to achieve this.
