WHEN IT COMES TO SKINCARE conditions, sensitive skin ranks at the top of the list these days. More than two-thirds of women and half of men claim they have sensitive skin, yet it wasn't long ago when doctors didn't officially recognize the condition at all. Dr. Mahu Dutil, a Toronto-based dermatologist and La Roche-Posay consultant remembers sitting in class at the University ofToronto when the topic came up. "It was kind of treated like the princess and the pea," she says. "They kind of thought it might be made up."
