The Hebron oil field development project offshore eastern Canada has produced first oil, reports operator ExxonMobil. At plateau, Hebron will produce up to 150,000 b/d, ExxonMobil said, adding that it will help Atlantic Canada offshore production rise 44% to 307,000 b/d by 2024, according to estimates from the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.
