RockRose buys Idemitsu UK

RockRose Energy has signed a deal to acquire Idemitsu Petroleum UK and its UK North Sea assets. RockRose said the acquisition would be financed out of the existing facilities and cash resources of the company. Subject to completion of the acquisition, RockRose will be taking over Idemitsu’s stakes in the following fields: Ross, Blake, Tain, Nelson, Howe, Balmoral, Stirling, Beauly, Burghley and Galley fields. They are operated by Shell, with partners Premier Oil and Repsol.
