Barents Sea gas discovery

Statoil is completing exploration well 7435/12-1 in Production Licence 859 (PL 859) offshore Norway as a minor gas discovery. The well was drilled around 365km northeast of the 7324/8-1 discovery (Wisting), about 420km from the Norwegian coast and around 35km from the border between Norway and Russia.
