Transocean to drill Agar-Plantain

Azinor Catalyst has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Transocean to use the Transocean Leader semisub rig for a well in the UK North Sea. Azinor Catalyst said the Transocean Leader rig would be used to drill an appraisal well on the Agar-Plantain play. The operator is currently in the advanced stages of planning and preparation for the well, which subject to the receipt of required regulatory approvals, is scheduled to spud in Q3 2018, said Azinor.
