Transocean gets 11-well job

Transocean has been awarded an 11-well contract by Chevron for the ultra-deepwater semi-submersible GSF Development Driller I off Australia. Transocean said work will start in the first half of 2019 and will last for around 955 days. The estimated value of the firm contract backlog, excluding integrated services, is around US $158m. The contract for the 2005-built semi-submersible rig includes four one-well options to extend.
