Wellesley gets Norway permit

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has given Wellesley Petroleum a drilling permit for exploration well 35/11-21 S offshore Norway. Well 35/11-21 S will be drilled in Production Licence 248 I (PL 248 I) using the Transocean Arctic rig. Wellesley operates PL 248 I with a 60% stake, while Petoro holds the remaining 40%.
