Aussie West Barracouta FID

US big hitter ExxonMobil has made a Final Investment Decision (FID) to develop the West Barracouta gas field in the VIC/L1 permit offshore Victoria in the Bass Strait offshore Australia. ExxonMobil has completed Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) work for the project, which is part of the Esso-BHP Gippsland Basin joint venture (JV), and awarded contracts to Subsea 7 and OneSubsea.
