Maersk Resilient gets charter

Denmark's Maersk Drilling has landed a Letter of Intent from an unnamed operator for its Maersk Resilient jack-up rig. The contract for the Maersk Resilient unit is due to start in April 2019 and last for four months, Maersk said in a fleet status report. The rig's previous contract was with Maersk Oil in Denmark, which was later transferred to France's Total after Maersk Oil became part of Total. This three-year deal, with a value of US $110m, expired in October 2018.
