Woodside has handed KBR the concept definition engineering contract for the two gas FPSO vessels needed on the US $20 Bn Browse development offshore Western Australia. Woodside has launched the engineering services contract to define all aspects of the hull and topsides of two Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels for remote environment operations using "cutting edge technology", said KBR, adding that the workload is expected to take until the end of the first half of 2019.
