Wood wins Woodside work

Woodside has taken on Wood Group to support concept definition for the proposed Scarborough development project offshore Western Australia. Earlier this year, Woodside took over operatorship of the Scarborough field, which lies around 220km northwest of Exmouth at a water depth of 900m (2,953ft). Woodside acquired a stake in the field in 2016 from BHP Billiton but in 2018 it also bought out ExxonMobil for more than US $400m, becoming the operator with a 75% stake in Scarborough.
