Third Zohr unit onstream

Italy’s Eni has started output from the third production unit (T-2) of the Zohr project off Egypt. The T-2 unit will increase the installed capacity to 33.99 MMcm/d (1.2 Bcf/d), said Eni. Zohr is now producing 1.1 Bcf/d in ramp-up, equivalent to around 200,000 boe/d, of which 75,000 boe/d is net to Eni at its current working stake. This outstanding result has been achieved only a few months after the field’s start-up in December 2017.
