The BP-Kosmos Energy consortium has scooped exploration rights for two offshore blocks in Sao Tome and Principe’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), said the country’s Oil Agency. The two companies won Blocks 10 and 13 in a restricted tender, the agency’s director Orlando Pontes said, beating off competition from a sec- ond consortium of Portugal’s Galp Energia and France’s Total, Reuters reported, citing Pontes.
