Indonesia block bids

Indonesia has received bids from “several foreign companies” for five exploration blocks, according to the country's Deputy Energy Minister Arcandra Tahar. At least four companies, including Mubadala Petroleum, Repsol and KrisEnergy, put in bids for five of the 10 conventional blocks on offer, said Tahar in a news conference, Reuters reported. Domestic companies also expressed an interest in the blocks, he added.
