The US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) plans to offer around 315,655sq km for a region-wide lease sale in the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) in March 2020. According to the Department of Interior (DoI), the sale will include all available unleased areas in federal waters of the GoM that are not subject to Congressional moratorium.
