Gijon-based Duro Felguera (DF) has signed a con- tract with BP to construct 12 oil and gas extrac- tors for a platform in Azerbaijan’s sector of the Caspian Sea. DF said that the contract was awarded to its subsidiary DF Caldereria Pesada (DFCP). The 12 extractors will be installed on “a platform in the Caspian Sea from where hydrocarbons will be extracted at a depth of 140m (459ft),” said DF without naming the platform.
