Egypt Western Desert field flows

Italy’s Eni has kicked off production from the South West Meleiha Development Lease in the Egyptian Western Desert. The block lies 130km north of the oasis of Siwa. The area produces from two wells at a rate of around 5,000 b/d of oil and is expected to reach 7,000 b/d in September 2019.
