Equinor gets Mist green light

Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) has given Equinor consent for exploration well 7219/9- 3 in Block 7219/9 in the Barents Sea. Well 7219/9-3 lies in Production Licence 532 (PL 532), for which Equinor is the operator. The well will test the Mist prospect. The well lies in the Barents Sea, around 22km south-southeast of the Johan Castberg field. Water depth at the site is 326m (1,070ft).
