Equinor has handed Kaefer Energy a US $79.5m (NOK 700m) contract for insulation, scaffolding and surface treatment (ISO) on the Johan Sverdrup field in the Norwegian North Sea. The contract has been awarded under an already existing framework agreement for opera- tions. This includes both ordinary operations and maintenance work, and work associated with Phase 2 of the Johan Sverdrup project, which was approved by the Norwegian government on 15 May 2019.
