Spirit to operate SNS assets

UK-based Spirit Energy will become the operator of a new Southern North Sea (SNS) discovery after an “encouraging exploration campaign.” The Ossian-Darach exploration well encoun- tered hydrocarbons in licence P2133 and was plugged and abandoned during August 2019. Spirit has a 35% stake and subject to regulatory approval will take on operatorship of P2133 from ONE-Dyas on 1 February 2020.
