Germany's Wintershall Dea reports that the West Mira semi-submersible rig has spudded its debut well on the Bergknapp prospect in the Norwegian Sea. Wintershall Dea said that the prospect marked the start of a two-year drilling campaign with the West Mira, operating at least 12 wells.
