Lundin Petroleum and its partners Wintershall and OMV have submitted a Plan for Development and Operation (PDO) for the Solveig field (for- merly Luno II) offshore Norway. The Solveig oil discovery is located in Production Licence 359 (PL 359) 15km south of the Edvard Grieg field. Solveig will be developed via a subsea tieback to the Edvard Grieg platform, which will require five development wells with gross peak production of 30,000 boe/d. The antici- pated start up is in Q1 2021.
