The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) has granted DNO Norge a drilling permit for appraisal well 6507/7-16 in Production Licence 888 (PL 888) in the Norwegian North Sea. “The area in this licence consists of part of Block 6507/7. The well will be drilled about 3km west of the Heidrun field and 250km north of Kristiansund, said the NPD.
