Norway had the highest number of oil and gas discoveries globally in Q1 2019 with five discoveries,according to a report by analysts GlobalData.Of these,three were conventional oil discoveries and the remaining two were conventional gas discoveries,said GlobalData.GlobalData’s report Q1 2019 Global Oil and Gas Discoveries Review – Norway Leads with Highest Number of Discoveries in the Quarter showed that globally,23 oil and gas discoveries were made in Q1 2019.Of these,there were 11 conventional oil and 11 conventional gas discoveries.L46/16-31 was the only unconventional gas discovery in Q1 2019 and this was made in the UK.
