Polarcus starts S. Africa shoot

Polarcus has started a 3D seismic survey over Block 11B/12B in the Outeniqua Basin offshore South Africa – where Total made the significant gas/condensate Brulpadda discovery in February. It is hoped that 3D data from the shoot will bet- ter define drilling prospects on Block 11B/12B, said Africa Energy, Total’s partner in the find. Polarcus is using the Polarcus Asima seismic vessel for the survey.
