SEP spuds Ghana probe

Ghana’s Springfield Exploration and Production (SEP) has spudded the Afina-1x well, the first probe of a campaign offshore Ghana. SEP is using the Stena Forth drillship for the well. It is capable of operating in water depths of to 3,048m (10,000ft) and can drill to a depth of 10,667m (35,000ft).
