Providence extends loan timing

Ireland’s Providence Resources has extended a deadline for the receipt of a loan by China’s APEC, even though it said last week there would be no more extensions. Providence operates the Barryroe prospect in the North Celtic Sea Basin via subsidiary EXOLA. Last said, the operator said that the Barryroe farm-out related $10m loan from APEC had not arrived as expected on 10 July. To add confusion, APEC previously said the funds had been trans- ferred.
