VIC/P70 drilling EP approved

ExxonMobil’s Environment Plan (EP) for its explo- ration drilling campaign on the VIC/P70 conces- sion offshore Australia has been accepted by the country’s NOPSEMA. The US major submitted a revised EP for explo- ration drilling in the Gippsland Basin, 90km off the East Gippsland Victorian coast, to include the ultra-deepwater Sculpin-1 well in February 2019. The plan was accepted on 17 June 2019.
