Eni’s Mexico duster

The Ehecatl-1 wildcat on Block 7 in the Sureste Basin offshore Mexico has been completed as a dry hole, according to partner Cairn Energy. The exploration well aimed to prove hydrocar- bons in the Lower Miocene. However, the well did not find hydrocarbons and it has now been plugged and abandoned.
